Antianalysis Is Back On Dark Web After One Week'S Shutdown

In Brief:

  • Antinalysis, is a tool Cybercriminals can use to identify which bitcoin addresses may be linked to criminal activity.
  • The tool accepts payment in Monero.

Antinalysis, a dark web tool designed to help users check how clean their Bitcoin, is open again after a week. The tool allegedly helps users check where the Bitcoin they hold originates and how risky it is to hold it. The website advertises “blockchain Privacy”.

According to the tweet by Tom Robinson of Elliptic, the website is “no longer dependent on any third party for address labeling”.  The website accepts payment in Monero. Apart from the onion address, the tool now has a clearnet portal at antinalysis.org.

According to  Tom Robinson’s investigation, the developers of an online illegal drugs marketplace designed the website.

“We are now back and no longer dependent on any third party for address labeling,” the website reads, gloating a brand new blockchain analytics system. “If you are looking for blockchain privacy, you have arrived at the right place,” it adds.

The tool reportedly shut down last week after a software bot cut off its third-party services. The website used AML Bot to pull data.  Earlier, the website ran only on the Tor network.
