Two Tokyo-based companies CyberZ and OEN collaborated to launch a “Japan Inspired NFT Portal” (JINP) to promote Japanese culture worldwide.
The JINP project aims to remix the traditional Japanese culture with the modern times and preserve them for the future through blockchain technology.
Each release of the JINP project will feature a 4-character kanji compound, which are idiomatic phrases composed of 4 consecutive kanji characters.
The first series is titled ‘JUU-NIN-TO-IRO’, which means ‘ten people have ten different ideas or tastes.’
The release will feature 10 illustrators who will create an NFT-themed series named ‘washoku’ to express traditional Japanese colors.
The auction for this series will start on June 20.
The second series is titled ‘ON-KO-CHI-SHIN’, which will be based on traditional Japanese work by world-renowned photographer “RK”.
More details about this series will be released later.
JINP project also plans to partner with group companies to expand the business by utilizing cutting-edge 3DCG technology to create large-scale buildings, fashion items, and glass vases.
