The Seychelles-based cryptocurrency exchange Huobi announced that it has registered with the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC) as a digital currency exchange provider and will begin offering related services from August 1.
Although, after registration, Huobi Global can provide the following services: fiat money for digital currency or digital currency for fiat money. However, it stated that once registered, it would focus on providing OTC services.

Huobi Group CFO Lily Zhang said, “We have always made security and compliance our highest priorities, as we believe that only under this principle can we grow alongside the industry to provide professional and secure services to our users.”
