Earlier today, Bob Dylan and Miles Davis’ NFTs were confirmed with the emergence of two music giants: Sony Music and Universal Music on Solana-based NFT platform Snowcrash.
Snowcrash called itself “a fully integrated premier digital platform and creative production studio,” while revealing the deal with Sony Music Entertainment (SME) and Universal Music Group (UMG).
Snowcrash will “bring together diverse segments of technology, the creative arts and digital innovation”, according to a statement.
The launch of Snowcrash’s “premier NFT trading platform,” is equipped with a waitlist for NFT-enthusiasts on the homepage.
As per the release, the launch of Bob Dylan and Miles Davis’s NFT collection is scheduled for this year. Also, the partnership will announce many projects in the upcoming months. UMG and Sony are giving tribute to Dylan for his publishing and recordings.
Snowcrash is the NFT marketplace for exclusive NFTs from popular creators, brands and artists. The platform curates primary drops, limited editions, streaming rights and digital goods.
The platform aims to provide an efficient and eco-friendly experience for buyers, sellers, and creators.
The platform is built by filmmaker Jesse Dylan, NFT pioneer Walter De Brouwer, and entertainment executive Jeff Rosen. Rosen has been serving as a president of the Bob Dylan Music Company for more than 30 years.
This is not the first time UMG is embracing NFT space. Last month, the music firm joined hands with Curio to curate the Fan NFT collection.
