Openai Whistleblower Suchir Balaji'S Mother Presents New Evidence

Months after 26-year-old former OpenAI researcher Suchir Balaji was found dead in his apartment in San Francisco, his mother Poornima Rao shared footage of Balaji’s last public appearance, alleging foul play into his death, due to his whistleblowing activities.

According to Rao, another solid piece of evidence was found against the alleged suicidal case of AI whistleblower Suchir Balaji’s death, in a recent conversation with TIMES NOW news channel.

“GSB level plus alcohol level can be sedative. He could be unconscious or could go into a coma, but how can he shoot himself? Another thing that Rao said was they could see signs of spitting and coughing outside the bathroom; what does that mean? Why was there bleeding on the wall? The shot was played,” said Rao in her interview with Times Now.

In a recent conversation with TIMES NOW, Poornima Rao mentioned how San Francisco police and investigators have ignored Balaji’s last CCTV footage as crucial evidence. Balaji’s parents are not ready to accept the autopsy report or OCME that have been published in February 2025, and they strongly believe that San Francisco police have ignored the important piece of evidence despite seeing of the CCTV footage.

Rao shares they’re planning to arrange a conference in future to release all the gathered evidence against the death of Balaji.

As per the doctor, there was no blood in the hand apart from GLS powder, which leads to a suspicion that someone might have threatened or pressured Balaji to shoot himself to make it look like a suicide.

Suchir Balaji, an Indian-American former Open AI researcher, was found dead at his San Francisco based apartment on November 26. His identity was revealed to media 15 days later, even as authorities ruled his death as suicide with no evidence of foul play.
