Manus AI, a new Chinese AI agent, is rapidly gaining popularity worldwide among new users. Just a few days after its launch, it has gone viral. Now, the firm is undergoing maintenance due to the overwhelming influx of users.
In a recent post on X, Manus has announced that it will undergo scheduled maintenance at 2:00 AM PST to boost its service quality. The firm further highlighted that during this 2-hour maintenance window, new session creation for new users will be unavailable, and its active sessions may experience some delay.
The company also stated that this initiative is taken to upgrade its infrastructure to reduce sandbox-related errors. It further added that the response to its closed beta has surpassed the firm’s expectations. And hence, as a result, the firm is accelerating the development of features originally planned for the post-general availability (GA) release.
These improvements include the extension of its sandbox resources with elastic scaling and improved performance. Additionally, the firm will improve the reliability of its large language model (LLM) services for enhancing its capacity to improve error handling to reduce the task failures and more.
However, the firm concluded by saying that, “As a small startup team, we are working diligently to accommodate more users while ensuring a high-quality experience. We appreciate your patience and continued support.”
Manus AI has been launched after the Chinese AI startup DeepSeek claimed that it can defeat AI models like ChatGPT. However, the firm has raised a total of over $10 million in its two rounds of financing and is in a superior position in the industries of AI.
