The price of Bitcoin has today dropped as low as $84k, a day before Donald Trump’s Crypto Summit – to be held at the White House. Coinciding Bitcoin price, major altcoins like ETH, XRP and SOL have also dropped over 5% in today’s trading session.
As per market data, Bitcoin is currently trading near $88,500 while it dipping as low as $84,900 today from the high of $91,400 – falling down 7.65% on the daily candle. At the time of writing, it is down 2.56% in the past 24 hours.
Ahead of the crypto summit, leading altcoins are going through mixed signals as they fall over 5% in 24 hours with continued buying pressure. ETH price failed to sustain above $2,200 with it falling 4% while SOL also pushing back after hitting $150 – falling 3.5% in the past 24 hours. XRP fell from $2.6 to $2.4 within minutes, marking a drop of nearly 8% – before claiming back to $2.50 where it currently trades.
Other notable altcoins in daily gaining list includes MOVE, SUI, NFT and HBAR, which all have pumped over 4% while ONDO, IP, S, and AAVE have declined 10% in the past 24 hours.
