Openai Introduces Its Advanced Ai Model Gpt-4.5

OpenAI, an American artificial intelligence (AI) company, has introduced its most advanced and updated AI model, GPT-4.5. The model is currently available to its Pro users and developers for research purposes. The ChatGPT Pro users can select this model on the web of their mobile or desktop.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has posted on his X post (formerly known as Twitter) that, “It is the first model that feels like talking to a thoughtful person to me. I have had several moments where I’ve sat back in my chair and been astonished at getting good advice from an AI.”

He stated that the firm wanted to launch this model for its pro and its plus users, but as it is a giant and expensive model and the company is expanding, so the company is lacking the GPUs, so currently they were unable to do it.

He further added that “hundreds of thousands coming soon, and I’m pretty sure y’all will use every one we can rack up.”

According to the reports, the GPT-4.5 was trained on Microsoft Azure AI supercomputers. Hence, according to the company, it’s a model with deep knowledge and understanding of the world, with a wide range of topics.

One of the major expansions in GPT-4.5 is that its broader knowledge can do tasks like writing, coding and problem solving. Additionally, it has the capabilities to understand and respond with greater emotional intelligence.

This makes interactions feel more human-like, particularly in areas requiring nuanced communication, such as creative writing and advisory tasks. GPT‑4.5 has gained access to the latest up-to-date information with its search, supports file and image uploads, and further it can also use canvas to work on writing and code.

However, GPT‑4.5 does not currently support multiple features like Voice Mode, video, and screensharing in ChatGPT. But in the future, the company will work to simplify the user experience so AI “just works” for its users.
