India To Use Ai To Manage Crowd During Mahakumbh Mela 2025.

Indian police are deploying AI for the 2025 Mahakumbh to be held in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh state where over 200 million Hindu devotees are expected to attend. According to officials, AI technology will be used to evaluate real-time data for security and crowd management.

The AI system will be used by Uttar Pradesh police that will implement and oversee the AI system. The AI system will be a blend of multiple data and it will generate the reports and will facilitate real-time analysis of large-scale data sets, enhancing crowd management for the safety of people and devotees who will attain the Mela, added the official.

Over 200 million devotees are expected to attend the Mahakumbh Mela 2025. The A tech will also help train police officers and also the security personnel to operate the system effectively and properly. Once the testing phase is completed, the system will be set up to be used ahead of Mahakumbh. This initiative marks another significant milestone for the state police, following the launch of the Mahakumbh Police App aimed at boosting security and promoting smart policing. 

As reported by TOI, The Mela is going to be held from January 13 to February 26, 2025. The AI system will provide live data handling and scalability ensuring the safe and proper implementation of the event. Along with various features, the system will process assess create strategies, generate intelligence reports, and coordinate data storage while ensuring security compliance and protecting sensitive data.
